Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 9, 2026

PixelKit is a free, browser-based image resizing tool. This page explains how the tool handles images and what other data may be processed when you visit the website.

Your images

Image resizing is performed locally in your browser. The PixelKit tool does not upload your selected images to our servers or store them on our servers. The resized image is generated in your browser for you to download.

Information you provide

The website does not currently provide user accounts, contact forms, or image-sharing features. You do not need to provide your name or email address to resize an image.

Analytics, advertising, and cookies

The current PixelKit website does not include third-party advertising or analytics scripts, and the tool does not intentionally set cookies. This may change if additional services are introduced; this policy will be updated accordingly.

Hosting and technical data

PixelKit is hosted using Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process technical information such as IP addresses, request details, and security-related data to deliver and protect the website, in accordance with its applicable policies. This processing is separate from the local handling of your image files.

Third-party links

Links to external websites, if added, are governed by those websites' own privacy practices.

Changes

We may update this policy as the website evolves. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date.

Questions

A dedicated contact channel is not yet available. We plan to add one before introducing advertising or other services that require it.

AI background removal: If used, your browser downloads AI software and model files from third-party services. These services may receive standard connection data such as your IP address. The image is intended to be processed on your device rather than uploaded to our server. AI functionality may be unavailable on some devices.
